Landfill recycling object identification using Tensor-flow

The project “Landfill Refinery” is a Python AI/ML based solution using Google TensorFlow that can detect objects such as "Plastic Bottle", "Aluminum Can", "Banana Peels", etc., which are recyclable or bio-degradable from landfills.

Landfills are huge dump areas situated on the outskirts of urban areas. These landfills contain every type of waste product, including bio-degradable, toxic, and recyclable materials. Waste products that are recyclable and bio-degradable can be processed and reused for various purposes. At present, manual scavengers perform this task under high risk from fire, smoke, and life-threatening diseases.

This solution can detect objects and classify them into their product type, providing exact spatial dimensions within real-time video or imagery. This script is implemented into a robotic system that picks the detected items and directs them to facilities for recycling or fuel conversion.

The project increases the safety and life expectancy of humans and animals in nearby areas while reducing public expenditure on manual scavenging health risks. Landfill Refinery prevents exposure to hazardous conditions caused by landfill fires and toxic gases.

Various training methods and ML algorithms were practiced and tested to improve detection accuracy. Please see the video below for a demonstration of this solution.

Sanskrit NLP is a voice Enabled Sanskrit Speech Recogniton using machine learning. When a user says a common Sanskrit phase, the program shall be able to recognize the Sanskrit word using language acoustic model, correct the grammar errors using ML classification algorithm.
